global warming

you think its really a threat? or just something made up to try and bring the oil companies down? if you think about it, the oil companies are huge. It wouldn't surprise me if for the most part it was exaggerated to turn everyone against the oil companies.

what do you think? and why isn't al gore running for president!

it is definitely a threat. In India, the delay of seasons, untimely rains destroying the crops, floods, all these are related to global warming. It has nothing to do with the oil companies as, despite being aware of the global warming, how many of us have turned our backs on them? Unless we discover, a better way of commuting(for which most of the oil needs are to be fulfilled),or fuelling , nothing can stop us from using petrochem.

Oh yeah... Global warming is here and we all know. The problem is that these oil companies are so big and powerful that whenever someone comes out with an idea on alternative fuels and all that, they bride these people and tell them to shut up.
I know there are many options out there that will definitely help slow global warming but these options are against big companies interests.

Yeah, thats why there's a giant whole in the Ozone layer. Temperature wise, I can't say there's noticeable effects. The Earth goes through warm and cold periods. During the end of the last ice age, the global temperature jumped 1 degrees in 50 years.

Global warming is just about made up. The earth has gotten warmer by an average of less than a degree over the last decade yet there is some cause for alarm. It is just a scare tactic to try and bend people.

Its because C02 is obviously rigged. Its rigged in a way that too much of it is bad for the environment and could cause global warming. If C02 wasn't so rigged, we wouldn't have this problem at all.

And again it is an exaggerrated problem that does not really pose much of an issue at all. It is just a way for politicians and scientists to scare us into doing what they want.
