say you made a poker site and it had around 5,000 members and you pulled in 10,000$ a month from rake...

but there was another road if you wanted to take it.


you could rig the site so that good cards play out more than normally would meaning you could get more money into the pots which means higher rake, with this new system you could start earning 25,000$ a month....would you do it?

Well I think this I would give it a little push as long as nobody ends up losing. If there is a way where more people win and that increases my income I would totally do it but otherwise I'd rather keep it clean.

I would keep it legit. I am not one to 'cheat' the system and do something that is probably illegal. Would you want to get sued by your fellow players? I sure as hell wouldn't. Even if I could bring in some extra money, its really just the 'game' I love. I don't do it for the money.

Because the enforment officials would put me in jail. Look at it this way, if I ran the site, I don't even have to play. I just take rakes of the pot. I win regardless of who wins the hand. Why would I rig it?

Well I was actually going to have an online gambling website (but gave up), but it was going to use play money so I would have no reason to rig it, so no, I wouldn't rig it.

To some extent i would rig it to ensure i had money coming into my pocket to live off, but i would not be greedy i would make sure my customers are satisified and are not losing alll of their money!

No see, this just doesn't make any sense. The way online poker places make money is not by rigging the tables and hiring players to play customers. Thats just plain stupid. Its well known that the way they make money is they rake the pot, just like casinos do.

I like to be fair to everyone. Although you could make alot more money, I still would never sink that low.

A few years ago, I would definitely have rigged it. Money is money. But today, if I were to create a poker site, I would not rig it and my slogan would be "This site is not rigged!" I would go overboard making it clear that my site is as random as it gets (of course, I would not claim any other sites were rigged, I'd just make the implication).
