Poker Bots

It seems to me that cheating online would be an easy thing for someone with enough brains to write a program. Here's an interesting article I found on Poker Bots

yeah there are bots everywhere. They base there play off calculations and what not and they couldn't be able to tell if someone was bluffing or not it would just be a you got a hand or you don't type of play and you probably would just break even most of the time.

I haven't seen an experiment yet with a bot where the bot has actually won money, it's lost everything

Hmm their sure would be bots, but i don't think they are better then real people.
Only if the bot can see the other card, then it's very hard to win, but i think these sites are to much secured.

I doubt you could create a bot that actually beats good players. Bots can't read people, they play on probability alone. A good player can easily figure out and beat the playing pattern of any bot.

I have never seen any proof of poker bots on online gambling sites. If any of you do then please let me know. But yes I think there could be bots that could beat even the best poker players. There are video games out there like that so why not a bot?
