anyone have any bad experiences with them? I have had a few questionable things happen to me, like win 200$ one day just to lose 300$ the next.

Place in the money in 20 sit n go's one day and never place in the money in 25 the next day...

Im not saying anything aloud but i don't think thats normal.

I've never tried it either. Maybe you should try EuroPoker.com - I hear they're quite reputable.

I have played alot of online poker over the last 3 years for real money and freebies. Pokerstars is actually rated one of the highest poker sites there is online but to be honest with you the payouts suck. I don't really think they are rigged but I have never won much from them so its possible.

I would never go for a huge amount, but I have experience of loosing half of my amount from $300. So I never go for betting as these games are rigged.

From my personnal experience, I'll tell you what I noticed : pokerstars is streaky.

Just like you said. Either you are on a winning streak or you are on a losing streak. Where you get to win a little money is in beetween I guess.

It happens to me too often :
I win a lot of games in a row, winning something like 5, to lose 1, to win 8, to lose 2, to win 5 etc. Then, the next 2 days, it's nothing but cold deck situations, bad beats, losing all coin flip situations, getting outdraw, etc.

Losing 5 winning 1, losing 3 winning 1, losing 4 winning 1, so there goes the profit I though I made.

I don't think it's rigged in the sense that it targets me personnaly, but I do question their randomness algorithm because why the hell it's that streaky ? The nicest thing for them is you will never be able to prove that's it's wrong because it's suppose to be random and you can't prove randomness. 0.0000001% still exists so you might get into that situation sometime, even 2 times in a row!

I don't play cash games, I play sit n goes and HU matches and you seem to talk about sit n goes.

That's why a lot of people are pissed because when they have this unbelivalbe hot streak, they cash out, only to get into a unbelivable losing streak just to reload back their profit. We all know bad beats will happen, but it seems they ALL happen so close to one another, a lot of times in a row.

Do I suck at poker ? No, I don't think so because I made 300+ playing online poker. Just remember what I said and try to notice how streaky it is.

One last piece of advice : if you ever start a session or a game and you played fairly well only to lose because of a bad beat : QUIT FOR THE DAY. Because you will get bad beats all day. Your first game should be an indicator of how your next games will bet : if everything seems fine, then all will be fine. If you notice something odd, stop playing for the day or at least a couple of hours.
