An A10 is higher than A7, at's what I thought, A guy shouldn't be in the flop with a two to clinch the straight. So with A 10 I figued it was higher and with a straight draw and the possibilty of at least overcoming villian deep pockets, I'd win if all-in boy beat me. Luckily I tok them both. That's how I played that hand.

These lines are a bit too ambitious JD. I would never play a gutshot unless I'm holding 2 overs to the board and even then I'm not playing to a sizable bet. There are some fundamental leaks to these hands that will cost you hugely in the long run. Do you make these moves often? Would you say they earn you money?

is a crap holding when you're playing full ring. Calling an EP raise is one thing but weak 3-betting is a whole different story. I'd suggest mucking. The JT hand just doesn't need to be played on any level.

Well done for shipping it but it'll cost you unless you get rid of these moves.

if you're using that logic, please apply that logic to the second hand, where you needed a K to hit your straight on the flop. awful play. i'm expecting some awful justification now.

No, I'll cut the b.s, It makes sense what's being said. Eventually straying from fundamentals is what cost me the MTT. Early on I hope the players have poorer fundamentals, based on boards that don't play themselves. I'll work on it.

You can't always be too scared of what they might have, There not emotionless. If sometimes you put yourself on the better hand the other guy will be nervous. In MTT's you can draw out idiots with raises. I've played guys who raise people with crap cards knowing more often villian will fold by the river if they're insecure about their hand. In a live game i'm sure I'd want to see the board and play solid hands. Online we all do stuff that's not to proud. You tell me playing tight wins games online. I doubt that. It can really improve your staying distance. The 4x blind wins aren't gonna fund you. Especially vs fruitless endeavors. Also, tight play improves bluffs and blind steals. I'm just saying, getting a 100k in a MTT doesn't acrue through tight play. Part of being LAG is switching play up, if I lost hand 2 I still had money, and I would get called later when I had a nuts hand. I'm trying to play tight and be solid, when someone trys to con me with loose play I try to expose it, it's amazing, tell me you don't know what I'm referring to.
