I think you're priced in irrelevant of what you raise on the flop, which is a bit of a problem. Maybe flat the flop. Though i can see a few problems with doing this too lol

Meh, standard. It's a 3bet pot with like 160bbs, what are we scared of - 55 and 99? lol.
You could flat and stack off on any blank turn. But if the turn brings a flush then you're going to lose value from lower pairs, which you could probably of got on the flop; or even worse, get bluffed off by a worse hand. I like raising the flop here. |

You should be willing to play for stacks, how is villain dependent. If villain is aggressive and spewy, but can fold to raises I don't mind a flat. But for most villains raising and getting it all-in cant be wrong, I would advise just shipping it in on the flop as you kind of can't fold after commiting 60%.

biz has made a pretty decent sumnation here as usual. I think you need to have some decent stats on your opponent to work out his range of hands. I think most people would agree that your re-raise on the flop is far too weak and gets you nowhere.
Against a player where you have little information I would say the least likely hand he has here is a 9. most player who flop a 9 after you raise pre the way you did would check and let you C-bet yourself to destruction. Since you and he are both very stacked a hand like 45suited/56suited/67suited should be in his range because its the kind of hand where if he gets the right flop he will get paid vs an overpair/top pair. Also many small pairs are in his range and obviously two overs with a flush draw is in his range. For me the two options on the flop are flat or shove. If he's flushing we've got to make him pay hard to see more cards, $12 on top of $8 just isn't enough. Or if we want to let him see a turn to stop getting stacked by 55 or a nut flush draw we could flat the flop and decide whether or not we can get away on the turn if its a scare card or not. If it was me and I had plenty of buy-ins I'd like to assume that I was ahead on the flop, but I would probably flat anyway to see what he does next move should the turn be a scare card. if its an A, 5 or club I think you can safely shut down for the rest of the hand. Not sure how cohearant my opinion is going to be as i'm not going to check it over because I'm going to make a bacon sandwich... and theres a bunch of other things to think about that I havn't gone into. inc. how agressive you percieve the player to be and whether he's going to fire another bullet on the turn even if its not a scare card (this could encourage you to just ship it in on the flop). </ramble>

A9/K9 not in thie range in my opinion, flat a 3bet oop with a player to act behind... and then once they hit it they're crafty enough to check it? for me, the only way he's got a 9, is if he's got two of them.
