Re-Raise his 1200 bet- what happened is a call- FLAW= You wanted to play the board with him. Should of reraised and tryed to steal his raise before the turn. Wold of put you on a stronger hand. Is 1200 not enough chips to try and steal? I thing where the raise was critical it was played to passively..

Called the flop because i knew i was ahead, this guy was fairly aggro and i wanted him 2 bet into me on the turn too, the turn action shows that he was unwilling to give up the pot and that my call on the flop was the best way for me to get value for my hand, he ended up sucking out but i am happy with the way i plyed the hand against this opponent.

I don't think you played this hand that well. If he's aggro he'll happily lead out with a draw on the flop. Why minraise the turn? Just ship it in.

Thought 2200 on top of the 1200 bet was enough in that spot, not saying i played it that well, jst said i was happy with the way i played the hand apart from not shipping it in on the turn. the play from villain here is worse though IMO, shoving my re-raise with no fold equity with two outs.

Maybe vs the hand he actually holds but not vs his likely range of hands.

-Raise the flop(and not a small amount)
-Raise more on the turn(probably push)

If you want to improve post less in the "Bad Beat Central" forum and more in the "Poker Strategy & Advice" forum. Also instead of looking at hands where you got bad beat'd for a large portion of chips look more at the hands where you lost and didn't get bad beat'd. Post the hands where you have a tough decision and weren't sure what to do. Put all your hands into Poker Tracker 3 or Holdem Manager (both have free trials) and post some of your statistics.

Yes, it always sucks to get your money in and your opponent only has two outs on the river then lose. It doesn't necessarily mean everything we did in the hand was optimal or that it was bad either. When you get a chance print out a detailed report on your statistics from PT3 and post it in the "Poker Strategy & Advice" section. I'd be curious to see some of the numbers.
