Poker Forum by Poker is Rigged

hey i was trying to create a signature earlier today and for some reason it will not allow me to put in an image like i am able to do on other forums.

also, am i not allowed to have an animated avatar?

we currently have no signature rules regarding what you can and cant have. I will take a look at it for you and fix it.

Hi Rockart. I took a look and have changed it so you can now have images in the sig. We'll allow gif images for now as well but if they look messy or slow the site then they'll have to go.

Try using one now and see if it works.

Hang on. Try using [img] and [./img]. (Obviously without the ".").

All sorted. We'll see how it works out!

a way to cut down on the bandwith draw would be to limit signatures to one per page per user. see i have like 4 posts on this page, and subsequently have 4 animated gifs for the forum to have to render.

i know there is an option in the menu, but that is user specific. i think you can restrict it as a forum guideline with admin status.

I think we should just allow for a signiture to come with every post no matter how any times on a page. Gives you something for others to identify you with.
