Addicted to the WSOP? My wife is!
Does anyone else live with a spouse that spends hours and hours in front of the television watching World Series Of Poker ? I like to play cards but watching it on tv is as about as exciting to me as watching the grass grow.

Watching it on TV is just like the game itself. Boredom mingled with moments of adrenalin rushes. It's fun to watch not only the game but the personalities. Why not engage your spouse in some, let's say, strip poker? That should redirect her Poker interest. (lol)

personally, I don't get this show. It's duller than golf! I suppose the attraction is being able to see what you don't normally get to see - the other guy's hand. Or maybe watching other people blow their own money.

I love watching hands and I actually learn alot from watch really good players. At least your wife is addicted to watching the game and not addicting to playing -- which is a far worse situation. |
