This is an easy call?
What would you guys do in this spot? This guy is running at 12/11 with a low AF.

He's running 12/11 with a low AF? Assuming decent sample and no other reads, fold. How often does he fire a second barrel in a 3bet pot OOP, while committing himself, with anything worse than JJ (aka anything you beat) here? I feel you're essentially set mining from the get go...
P.S. I am fairly drunk, but it sounds like decent advice atm. |

Ok I banked this one till about 4 seconds left. Basically my thought process was that he would slow down with AA/KK/QQ after I smooth call the flop, perhaps bet the turn again but I couldn't see why he'd bet that much. After a long time thinking I put him on
and made the call. The river was so I beat absolutely nothing except which is what he had! Afterwards everyone on the table accused me of slow rolling and asked why I didn't make that call sooner. Surely there's more to this hand than brain dead calling??? The guy I called got a bit vexed and said he would've played the same with AA. Very strange. |

Quite right, Pates. There was NO WAY that was an easy call. Many, many players would play QQ/KK/AA in exactly the same way as vill did here. The ONLY thing you were beating was AK, and you were fortunate enough (and made a good read) for him to have that.
The people on the table with you sounded like morons who must get busted with lousy calls on a regular basis.

Still think that's a bit result-orientated. 3TT2 board. It's an incredibly dry board for a 3bet pot. I don't see why the 2 would slow down AA/KK, infact isn't the 2 the best card you could wish to see? Maybe QQ slows down and just c/c, what would AA/KK be afraid of here? There's 3/4 hands that beats AA/KK: AA/TT/33/22. I'll go broke to any of them in this spot. Perhaps I'm being retarded here... am i missing something?
I know i'm placing him on a tight range here, but I really dont see what else a 12/11/low AF 3bets PF OOP with. 11pfr = what range? Something around AA-88, AK, AQ? 11pfr who 3bets OOP = AA-QQ, AK? Against that range I feel you're a dog on this board. I'd stove it but im in the library; not revising. Btw why not just shove it all in on the turn if you think you're ahead? or did you and im just being a pedant. |

Infact that reminds me that he said "call me" in the chat box. I said "I'm never calling, I might raise". Usually people with a big hand who are confident won't say anything like "call me". I remember that helped me make the decision as well.
@ Mike - His bet sizes were just too odd as well. I flat the flop and he snap bets the turn to $25. This in my eyes doesn't make any sense unless he had AA and saw my hand being KK/QQ. It's not a value bet or anything, it's just a very very aggressive bet on a dry board. If he had AA/KK, I would've thought he'd try and get more money out of me rather than making such strong bets. I think if he bet ~$18 I'd be much more likely to fold. |

It's not so much the "call me" on its own. But it's what he said along with his suspciously fast/over aggro betting that helped support my idea that he was weak and just flushing.
If a hand is played very normally and then someone says "call me" then I'll ignore what they say. But what he said was only significant to me because how the hand went. |
