The Future Of Poker?
In the last few years poker has seen a MASSIVE increase in popularity. Online poker especially. 100s of thousands are playing poker online all the time and PokerStars not too recently hit their 10 Billionth hand!
Where do you guys think poker is headed?? Is there going to be a constant rise in popularity or has it peaked or coming to a peak? Will people slowly move toward Omaha and Stud as we're seeing at the moment. WHERE WILL POKER BE IN 10 YEARS TIME????:confused::confused: |

i think alot of people think different things. Iv heard alot of people say that limit poker is the way forward (NL ALL THE WAY!). i hope that it becomes unbanned in america because we are losing alot of fish. I dont think its peaked but i think its close to peaking... the risk is that the fish might find out they are losing players and quite but thats stuff of nightmares

I think that maybe internet poker will go towards Pokerstars and Fulltilt some more before reaching an oligopolistic-like level. I also think that gambling in general is going to become more popular here in Britain (just a shame they cancelled the super casino idea). And i REAAAALLLY hope limit poker isn't taking over, because THAT is the stuff of nightmares  |
