Has anyone ever played in a big tournament?
By big, I mean a WSOP tourny or something very very big and somewhat expensive to get into. I think it would be more of an experience then a money-making opportunity, but would be fun.

So has anyone ever been in one?

Most of these 'huge' tournaments are located too far away that I can't afford it. Such places like Las Vegas would cost me about $1000+ just to get there. Personally, I wouldn't attend these events anyway. I like to keep my poker skills low-key. If I unleashed it, the whole media would be on my tail.

Yes my high school send off was a big tornament but the fact that there was not more than a $ 100 in it...
