So ive just seen the pokerstars promo for may, i know theres already a thread but thought i may aswell start anuva one! yer, its too good to turn down, looks like im going to have to up my stakes again if i wanna get these 60k points.
I know playing cash is much better for accumulating points than playing sngs but sngs are better for me so i will probs start playing 10-20 dollar sngs and see how i go. If i get to the point where i know i won't make it then i will start having to play cash tables.
So just a question for platefish or anyone that plays nl50. If im 4-6 tabling 9 nplayer tables, how many points roughly do you think i should accumulate for an hours play?

you get around .19-.2 VPP/hand at NL50 FR. 1 VPP/ 5 hands.

cheers, how must faster dyu reckon you accumulate points playing cash rather than sngs?

5 FPP/$ rake in sngs + mtts so at the low level buy in ones you would have to put in a ton of volume. 1000 10$+1 sngs to get 5k VPP, so it is pretty hard.

yer kinda figured it would be a lot lol. clear summin up for me. if we get 3k points in may they give us 60k, does that mean they are fpp points too and they we can spend 60k fpp in the store or is it soley points for building vip status?

nope, no FPP as well - that would be too ridiculously good. just the extra vpp which i am more than happy with!

I was quite suprised to find I am getting roughly 50 VPPs an hour at 4 tables of NL25. I thought it would be much less.
