Real online touranaments

My friend plays mainly online Tournaments, specially PL 5-draw, that ancient game... I play some Omaha Hi-Lo also. I do not play HE.

Tourneys are very different from ring [cash] games, you can not wait for the best hands or you will be blinded off. And 5-draw has just two betting rounds and almost no hints besides how many cards were drawn by the other players. Position and table image are very important on this game, IMO.

Usually I play tight at the first levels, waiting for the HE players to fight and bust each other and then I start firing. If I am succesful I will then try to fight for the first prizes. If I am not I will slow down and try to survive the bubble so I can at least take my buyin back. It sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't...
