$7500 - How I made it in one day!

Hey guys,

Thought i would share a bit of good luck that happened to me. I made $7500 for literally 1 minute work today. All it took me was a 9$ investment not bad!

So anyway, Nick and myself were thinking about creating a poker blog with great quality articles. So on sunday i started searching domain names, anyway after a couple of searches I found that texasholdemstrategy.org was completely free and un registered. I picked it up for 9 dollars because i knew it was a good name, I put it up on a forum the same day asking if it was worth anything.

2 minutes later I receive a PM asking if im looking to sell it, i said i might be interested and asked him to make a offer. He messaged me back how does $7500 sound?

Well the rest spoke for itself. I set up an escrow through escrow.com and we made the transfer.

Now the $7500 has just been shipped to my account. bring on the spending spree!

I may do, there is a whole profession in domain flipping. People make millions each year doing it! I think what im going to do now though is buy up some nice domains and then develope and flip the sites.

He rang me and I said get $8k for it! Considering it took 2 hours or less to negotiate a $5 domain into $7.5k I can totally understand why his first offer was taken.

I wanted to get involved in domain names a couple of years back, but never got my act together. I'm amazed that there are still any poker domain names out there that haven't been snapped up yet?
