Dissertation

Just finished my 10,000 word dissertation that I managed to mash up in about 2 weeks. Its **** and I really didn't work very hard for it. Pulled an all nighter last night in order to finish it for the deadline which is in an hour and a quarter. I'm wired off my tits on coke (cola) and looking foward to going out tonight!

I'll take bets on whether i've failed it or not. I'll give you (generous) odds of 2 to 1 that i've failed. Takers?

The essay was on two patients that presented with loss of consciousness. One had epilepsy and one had type 1 diabetes. I had to disscuss various aspects of both diseases whilst referring to the two patients that I visited.

Genuinely wrote the main body of it (~9000 word) in two weeks. I would never hustle you guys. Personally I think it is fair odds for the utter bull**** that I produced in the end. I didn't even have time to finish proof reading it.

I actually rang wormalo up and asked him at reassure me that 'sphincter' was the only randomly placed word in my dissertation. He told me it was, although I am now awaiting the ineviatble email regarding the sexual content of my dissertation.FML

Are you in some sort of med school? When you opened up with 2 patients with loss of consciousness I was going to use my field training to give my take on shock. I have some training, neither cases that you mentioned should I experience in the field due to the ineligibility of both type patients being in the service. I'm not sure of the other jobs but I know the Infantry has medics attached to us who obviously know more than us when it comes to doctoring up people. They have to experience the same dangers though. I know alot more though about doctoring people up than I ever knew before.

Yeah, med school. Was quite suprised when I came across diabetics not being allowed in the armed forces or police. I thought that if they controlled it quite well then it wouldn't be a massive problem. Obviously there are human rights issues involved maybe there is a better explanation that is over my head?
