yea thats the right thing unless you are short stacked.

there are always going to be decisions in poker where you could possibly have the best hand, but its not worth risking your tournament life to find out.

ive done this same thing with JJ late stage in a tournament, and would do it again in a heartbeat (even though i would have won that hand - AQ vs AK)

The all-in shouldn't worry you from the short stack, he'll do this with a big range that JJ has covered. The EP raiser though is a tough one. You have just sat down and have no idea what he's like. This is a tough spot but there's no point shoving.

Someone behind could wake up with QQ-AA or AK and call. The EP raiser may also have one of these hands. IMO, you don't have a stack that needs a 50 50. You can wait for a FAR better spot.

I would have called that, only 1/5 of your stack, and if the original raiser pushes, u probably are in a coinflip situation.

I could have just called but I don't get what that'd acheive. If I'm behind then it'll go all in on the flop if anything lower comes. If he's a coin flip then the flop comes A or K or Q, I have to spend at least 5k more to find out where I am.

Yes, but if he has 1010 or lower, ( a good possibility) and a low flop comes out, u win a huge pot

How do I know he has TT and not AA? If he has TT and plays it like AA I have to fold the flop. It just sounds like a gamble to me. I'd rather be in a better position.

I would push back all in isolate the short stack to get heads up. You have enough chips here to still recover if you lose. This tournament is one of the biggest donkfests online they could be all in here wit a rag or something similiar to that.

In hindsight I should have. The UTG raiser actually had Good fold

I think a shove is dodgy with so many behind and the UTG raiser having a strong stack. I could flat call. I think a fold is the wrong move.
