Bad Isolation Here?
Here I am isolating against EXIT4YOU because the pot is 600 it folds round to him and he just sticks it in for 285. Im pretty certain here my pair of 2s are beating him and so I reraise 1k ontop to get rid of the other 2 players. One however, was slow playing JJ??... This is 2nd table of sunday mill shootout.

there is no real need for a iso shove here. I mean even if everyone folds you only have one under pair and people could be slow rolling a big hand. i would just fold it out and wait for a better spot.

I'm big stack and I am 80% sure I'm ahead of the shover. The pot is about 1k so it's worth taking down and knocking out a player seeing as we're getting short handed.
I don't ISO Shove, I just ISO raise. What I want to know is - If you're 100% certain you're beating the guy shoving with J high then do you isolate or just flat? I isolated to make sure noone calls on any draw or 2 overs. |

it would be a different arguement if it was a heads up pot BUT you have two other people to act after you so you should have to let it go because one of them might wake up with a hand

I would have let it go had I been first to act. But the whole table had checked around on a very safe board.
I couldn't really see a hand someone would be slow playing so I made the raise. |
