Push/Fold/Call - Tough Decision

Playing in a $10 20k GRTD on Stars. Things went really well for the first two hours and I managed to stay well ahead of the blinds. Got a bit damaged with AQ against KQ but held in there. I then had a tough decision with AJ on my Big Blind. The person raising from the CO had a preflop raise % of 15. So he raises 15% of hands which is quite aggro for a 9 handed table.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (9 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Final Pot: t15570

Results:

i dont think flatting here is ever the right option but i think you could argue a fold. His raising range in the CO is quite wide and you beat alot of it so the push isnt the worst thing in the world. But then again all the hands he calls your push with beat your hand atm so is it worth risking your tourny life on a pot that your going to have to show down anyway because button is all in...

7k stack with 200/400. I could just fold here but I think his range is so big that I could be winning 2k in this pot if he folded. I need a double up in my opinion or at least some stack building to keep ahead of the blinds. I hate getting into a situation where I have to push fold. I could of folded I guess, he might've had a hand like 88-TT which I would've been very happy with getting called by.

That guy is stealing your blind 9 times out of 10 I swear. Fine push, but AJ always gets me in trouble so i probably fold.

the wise old doyle brunson says to never play AQ strong unless you have to (his least favorite hand)
