Short but Sweet Poker Room Review
Poker is STILL growing rapidly!
And this means sites are snatching for customers as soon as they enter the market. This is a short but sweet review of main stream poker sites to help you guys decide which is most suited for you! Poker Stars By far the largest poker room on the net. The players here are fairly good for the stakes that they play and therefore beginners should KEEP CLEAR! What this site has to offer the most is tournaments, tournaments, TOURNAMENTS! with $1,000,000s of prizes guaranteed each week. The software is top of the range with resizable tables which helps for multitabling and a generally easy-to-use program. Full Tilt Home of the pros. I'm sure you've all seen the adverts on TV. Full Tilt are pumping tonnes of money into advertising and quite rightly so; the site has a cartoony style and is really fun to play, along with excellent graphics and good tournaments. The play here is strong and is definately not advised for any beginner. The software rivals that of pokerstars. Party Poker This is the most well known site out there; and definately not for it's software (unlike pokerstars). The site is fairly large and is a great place for beginners to start out as play is relatively weak at low stakes. Recommended for any new poker player looking to get their feet off the ground. Tournaments are on often and there are enough players online to find someone to play with. The software is basic... very basic. Click Here to play party poker iPoker Network The largest poker network on the web. It is a group of poker clients such as Betfred and University Poker League. There are some great jackpot prizes on these sites and the play is definately soft. These sites are very popular amongst Europeans. Moving onto some of the smaller sites: Paradise Poker One of the largest of the smaller sites. Not too long ago had a whole new redesign and has helped the site to keep up with the tough competition. Still a large number of players here and again, the skill level is below that of Full Tilt and Poker Stars. The software is fairly difficult to use, the windows aren't resizable like PokerStars and the whole thing just feels quite heavy and cumbersome. There are multiple currencies which is helpful for Americans and Europeans alike. PKR One of the big up and coming 3D poker clients today! This is "The Sims" mixed with poker; and it works wonderfully. The style is awesome and the concept is brilliant! Earn loyalty points and buy your character some new headphones, a suit, some sunglasses, or the whole lot! This site has really got a lot to offer and i'm sure the direction of future online poker is going this way. The play is a low standard but most likely because the top players are scared off by the difficulty of multitabling and the slowness that the animations have on each hand. Definately worth a look for any poker player. Betfair Like with all small sites, there is a lot of money pumping into making great bonuses to attract new players and Betfair is one of them. There are plenty of big deals with rakeback and added bonus money on first deposits etc. Betfair is a very small site and struggles to get even a handful of players online - yet it is a good starting ground for any beginner due to the good bonuses and low skill play. Click Here. ?10 no deposit needed I hope this has helped you guys choose which site to deposit at! Thanks for reading, Nick |

agreed, nice review.
The play on PKR is generally dire. But unless your computer is top of the range, forget multitabling.

are the cash game players on pokerstars that much better than other sites? i finally got a pokerstars account, and rather than randomly bonus hunting on various sites.. i'm gonna put all my money into PS, which would be stupid if they players there are harder to beat..
i play .25/.50 and .50/1 |

Stars and Chumps
Stars have a wide range of players i find. Some are very patient and will wait and build there cash up on the cash tables. Where as you will find on every table there is some chump who is looking to make a quick buck; i just bide my time observing who the chump of the table is, and try and isolate him as my main opponent, trying to get that all in from him when I am massssive.

Why not have a review of bodog?
The site is great for beginners, and offers an array of cash games and tournaments... Not to mention the great new software...

Full Tilt and PokerStars are the best. FTP have the best graphic but PS have
better players. players don't play only all-in poker like on FTP on low limits. pokerkeith bodog sux

i think full tilt has a unique style that appeals to some but not to others. i heard someone else on this site complain about the style of it. full tilt and pstars players dont differ too much i dont think.

What? You're crazy! haha...
There's so many fish there, they should rename bodog to "The Aquarium!"
