Since a couple of PIR members have been so kind as to leave comments on my blog, I thought I'd pop over and register and say hi.

A little about me...

I'm 31 years old, living in Kent and have been playing poker for almost 3 years. Due to redundancy at work I have taken up poker as a full-time occupation as of the beginning of September (yesterday lol). I've been known to play as high as 1000nl on PKR with 1 or 2 tables on the go, but for the sake of getting into the swing of things now I'm full time I am multi-tabling 50nl (16+ tables) on Stars.

I look forward to getting to know some of you guys over the coming months.

Welcome to the site Chipmonkey! I read some of your blog and found it really interesting. Good luck with your switch of jobs, hopefully things keep going well for ya. NL1000 on PKR sounds interesting, same standard as NL100 on PStars?

What's your screen name on Stars mate? I've been 6 tabling NL50 for the last month now and probably have played you a few times

Please explain how you can 16+ multitable. I tried 9 tabling and the moment I had a tough decision all the other tables backed up and I had a huge traffic jam of hands. How can you do 16+ tables?! lol.

I swear, everytime I see a new user register, Im anxious to find out whether or not its someone locally that joined as a result of my business cards....
These things havent really done jack-**** yet.

If I can get even ONE PERSON to join as a result of finding/being given the card, it would be worth the $8.

Lol. The site probably has got a lot of unique hits from it Rockart don't worry. I'm sure your business cards have done something Maybe a lot of the live players don't play online and so don't talk online about poker.

I play as TripSixUK on Stars and PKR. I currently play full ring as opposed to 6max, so that's where you will find me on Stars for the time being.

IMO 1000nl on PKR varies depending on the time of the week. Friday and Saturday it can play like 100 or 200nl anywhere else, but other times of the week the standard is much higher as there are a lot of good regulars that live on those tables.

As for how I cope with 16 tables (up to 24 if there are enough good games going), I have them stacked exactly on top of each other and just make decisions very quickly lol. It's just a case of practice really, gradually adding a table each time you get comfortable with a certain amount. I play with the sound off so I don't get all the beeping going on with actions to be taken. As you get better at the game the decisions become automatic and there's very little to get you thinking at 50nl IMO.

As for the business cards, sorry I've not seen those. I came here because my blog got spammed (lol kidding guys).

I'm a full ring player as well. So surely I've come by you, I'll check PO in a second. My name is "pates11380". So you don't even dual monitor? That's hardcore my friend! I've had plenty of tough decisions at NL50 lol and I usually make the wrong one. I've definately learned a lot about reading, pot control and when to fold after playing 37,000 hands in less than a month.

Lol that's awesome. Funny how many people you bump into when 6tabling ALL day lol. Cheers chipmonkey after 250 hands you seem pretty solid yourself, which I would hope seeing as you've turned pro. I make the occasional tilt/stack off, hope you don't see that My VPIP is a bit high atm as well.

That's unreal you have 16 tables on a laptop screen. 9 tables takes up everything. One day I'll be there man!
