    Party Poker Premier League 3

This years premier league has just begun on channel 4, and its not one to miss! For those of you unfamiliar with this, its a league containing 12 of the greatest poker players. Each player plays 6 6-man tables, and gets points depending on where they finish. At the end of the 6 games, the top 4 advance to the final table, the bottom 4 are out and the middle 4 play heads-up playoffs to determine to the final 2 seats at the final table. The winner of the final table recieves $1.25million and the coveted trophy!

The 3rd Premier Leagues mixes the old with the new. Old players return such as Phil Hellmuth, Tony G and last years winner, Andy Black. But we also see new players enter the game such as JC Tran, Peter Eastgate (2008 WSOP main event champion) and Tom Dwan.

The first match played saw JC Tran pick up the maximum 10 points, and the Devilfish leave with 0.

Look out for this on channel 4!

Tony G and Tom Dwan. Looking forward to it. Can't say I've ever watched it before. Tom Dwan is quite weird, he looks like he's trying too hard to have an ego and fit in.

Tom dwan is an absolute legend and one of the best players iv had the privilidge to see live.

His assesment of situations is astonishing and he knows where he is more often than many others. He is one of the few players who can tilt hellmuth at will and still have hellmuths respect after..... one of the best online players ever who has made millions with his mathematical ability, everythin is a number to him, no bet is random and he can analyse any bet some1 makes pretty dam ryt.

I fear ever playing him cos id **** myself!! He is my tip to b first person to win a WSOP WSOPE and EPT bracelet in same year!

Um well we will hav James KEys... final tablist of WSOPE 1st year and cashed this year

And John Tabatabai is 50/50 as to coming, iunfortunately he is reigning champion of south african poker tourny an i think that falls on this date.

Yh i guess i hav chilled with a few pros but tbh poker pros rnt ur usual celeb.

I reccomend every1 to go to the vic while EPT london is on, or to any participating casinos when WSOPE is on and sit urself dwn on cash tables. Strangest things can happen.... 1st year wsope we had MArcel Luske and Mimi Tran playing £1/£2 cash tables jus cos they wantd to talk to ppl and play the game they love. We also spent quite a while with Gus Hansen (he bubbles final table of WSOPE yr1) cos he askd if we wantd to grab lunch with him and taba.....
Just go an learn from the pros in person, its priceless and free!
