how come my animated avatars arent animated?

seems when i tell the site to upload my various awesome animated avatars, when they get uploaded they are no longer animated?

its just the first frame of the animation frozen?

am i doing something wrong?

It's a .gif file yeah? Maybe it's too big? Are you uploading it as a file or a link?
