Amarillo Slim Biographical Movie
Reported by playr.com, the movie will be released at some point in 2009 after several delays in its making. The movie will be adapted from Preston's biography - "Amarillo Slim in a World of Fat People: The Memoirs of the Greatest Gambler Who Ever Lived." and will star Nicholas Cage as Amarillo Slim Preston. Milos Forman - famous for "The people vs Larry Flynt" has been chosen to direct the film.
Amarillo Slim Preston is a living poker legend who is as famous for his outrageous proposition bets as he is for his poker playing. He holds four WSOP gold bracelets and his poker experiences include a game with "banditos" in Texas.
