    Daniel Negreanu's $10 - $100,000 poker challenge!

After buying in for an initial bankroll of $10.00, he'll start playing at $0.01/$0.02 NLHE with his goal to eventually build up that bankroll up to $100,000.00. This is similar to what Chris Ferguson did, although he started with $1, and built his bankroll up to $10,000.00.

OK, so I'm starting with $10 and playing ring game NL hold'em online at PokerStars. A few rules:

    1. I won't move up in limits unless I have 500 big blinds for that limit. I'm starting at $0.01-$0.02 with a $10 bankroll.
    2. When possible, my buy in amount will allow me 5 buy ins at that limit. For example, if I have $5 left, my buy in for the game will be $1. I'll continue to do that until I dip below the min buy in.
    3. I will play only NL cash games.

The goal is to get to a $100,000 bankroll which would allow me to play $100-$200 NL. I'll still play other things from time to time using a separate bankroll. For example, the $200-$400 HORSE game, etc. I'll track my results in this thread, keeping track if the limit, hands played, and result. I'll also be doing videos of it at PokerVT.com.
This should be very interesting to observe, i wonder how long it will take him...

I'm doing something similar as I am taking the $5.00 that stars gave me and trying to slowly build it to $100.00 before I move up in mtt's buy-ins. Been doing this for about 3 months so far and have $35.00 in my account. I tend to stay away from the ring tables and just stay with the .10 sng's, and the occasional .25 mtt. After reading what Daniel is trying, makes me want to spend more time on the .01.02 cash table.

Gl to him. I'm not excited as the Durrrr challenge but it'll do. It's kinda a shame he's ripping off Furguson. No doubt he'll just reload his $10 roll a few times, I wonder if he can smash up 0.01/0.02 I think he'll get ****ed on!

Jesus actually started at 0. It took him months to get to 1. He would play freerolls to get his inital $$.. Negreanu has been killing the .01/.02 and is now up past $25 so he is at .02/.05 now

Pretty funny to be sat down at NL2 to find yourself playing against one of the most famous pros in the world. Anywhere posting when and where he is playing so that we can rail?

I think Negreanu could make a killing from it though if he told people where he was playing. Think of all the NL400+ players that just want to play him, they'll happilly buy into NL20 and just 3-bet shove him every time he raises. Would be very juicy for Negreanu.
