Patrik Antonius Extends lead over Durrrr to around 500k

At this pace, Tom "durrrr" Dwan will lose nearly $3.5 million in this challenge.

Of course, it is still early. Even though the online pro is down nearly $500,000, the deficit is far from insurmountable with so much poker left to be played. The two competitors have played just 13,246 hands of the 50,000-hand challenge. However, Dwan will have to rebound and turn things around if he doesn’t want to pay another $1.5 million to his challenger, Patrik Antonius.

I think this last session shows the true swings possible in the challenge. PA won $400k in 291 hands.

If patrick runs like he did in the aussie millions HU cash game then he will crush durrr. But if durrr keeps playing so good and he starts to run good then it will be very interesting
Still cant beleive bridge thought it was a sit and go. freak of medic nature.

I thought the buyin was like $100k. a $500k deficit at omaha heads up doesn't actually sound that bad.

That's right, 200/400 with a $40k buyin. As soon as one of them gets felted they rebuy for $60-80k usually, so they end up pretty deep.

You're right, forgot that was one of the conditions of the bet! Although given their playing styles, they often go straight from 100BB-0 without any of that tedious mucking about in between...

I keep missing their sessions. Is the general consensus that Antonius is running pretty hot then?
