    Wsop 2009

    So it all kicked off today with the Casino Employees only event.

    Tommorow is the real start with the $40,000 NLHE 4 day event.

    Schedule is here:
    http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com/to...sp?groupID=607

    Anyone fancy picking one player each, each putting in say £5 and winner takes all (Most cash won by a player during the series.) If people are definately in for this, post:

    I'M IN FOR WSOP FANTASY PICK
    Player = .....................

    (so there is no confusion on who is in/out of it)

    Deadline shall be Saturday 30th May - Midday GMT (to stop people picking who looks like winning the first event! )

    Final Picks

    Bridgey = Phil Ivey
    Browen = Shaun Deeb
    Garreth = Phil Hellmuth
    Cottis = Bertrand "Elky" Grospellier
    hitthenose = Chris Ferguson
    Platefish = Chris Moorman
    craigbor = Barry Greinstein
    7-18 = Allen Cunningham
    deaks102 = Erick Lindgren

    Ok so deadline has passed so these are the final picks. No going back!

    9 entrants at £5 giving £45 ~ $73 for the winner.

    Good Luck!

    P.S. Suggestions for how to deal with the money transactions?

    eurgh elky? I don't think he's every going to be up there with the best of them for me. He's just not got the right attributes to be a long term mega-pro.

    + he has seriously bad dress sense

    I reckon I should go with David Williams then, now theres the pimp of dress sense. A diamond tooth-pick, can you get more classy.
