    Nice one Garreth. +1

Looks like he was a bartender at some stakehouse. He took down $83,778. Not bad!

Our second bracelet has been awarded! And its not in event 2, its in event 3!
Omaha hi-low 8 or better, was awarded to Thang Luu, who won the same event last year! He also came second in 2007, great game for the guy!

Event number 2 is currently in heads up play, Gregg Raymer was knocked out in 3rd place!

    Nice thread Garreth!

Just seen the updates for the "stimulus special" $1k tourney, they got 6,012 players over the two day 1s! Down to 700-800 for the start of day 2.

By the way, there will be live final table video coverage for 24 events (all holdem or omaha) on http://wsop.pkr.com , starting with the final table of this tourney tomorrow night.

Yeah its the largest non-main event tournament in history!

I was pretty tempted to put my money on Greg Raymer. Gutted.

    Event #3 - $1500 - Omaha Hi-low - 918 Entrants
    Winner: Thang Luu[/QUOTE]

Should be noted that Thang took runner up two years ago, and won this event last year. Top 2 three years in a row in teh same event, dammn impressive sir (and back to back winner)
