there was talk about customising blogs pates, but i can't figure out how to do it. presumably the customisation is colours etc?

Go to your cpanel and at the bottom on the left is "blog". Click that and then you'll get to a list of options where you can find the customisation link.

ps. while I was adding these plugins I also found one to notify members if someone posts a visitor message on your profile. Now visitor messages wont be so redundant.

It's not lost. If you want the blog back then PM and I'll put it up in the general poker discussion. I did warn everyone that they will be removed so please transfer it across to your new blog.
