    $55 MTT Strategy

I definitely think there is a strong case for folding AJ here after UTG+1 raises. I'm not convinced though as this is Red Star Poker and people play all sorts of stuff as you would've seen in my last thread. This Q on the flop ruins everything for me, the only hand I feel is worth shoving against is AK. What's your line on the flop?

    Further thoughts:

Obviously it's a fold on the turn after LP has called flop bet (there is literally nothing we beat now). Imagine if LP wasn't in the hand, can you call the turn?

This. Although if its heads up after I called the flop I'm still shipping on this turn.

You have to ship it in on the flop.
If you have called pre, this is the kind of flop you are hoping for really.

I'm not really hoping for 2 pair if it brings the Q as well. I called preflop with position and perhaps being against some marginal hand or mid-high pockets. When the flop comes AQJ I'm really not that happy but I am happy for him to fire another bullet on the turn and then get it in. I wanted to know what you guys would do on this flop as there are a bunch of hands he is 2-barreling with that would fold to a flop shove. I think my line stinks in a multiway pot but heads up I'd rather just call with position on this flop.

With 2 guys to act behind fine to shove flop. Seriously you can't get away from this so just stick it in, flatting then folding the turn when a 10 peels would suck bigtime

Yeah, tbh I didn't give enough credit to draws for the playes behind me.

If we smooth call the flop and he outdraws on the turn, then haven't we just saved our monies and more importantly our tournament life? He's still sticking AK in on the turn but we can get it in with very little chance of losing. If a K or T comes on the turn then we fold to a shove but if a blank comes and he shoves then we get him in with ~15%.
