    Tricky preflop $5 sng spot



    UTG raiser is unknown

    This is final table of a $5/27. What do you do?
    Still cant beleive bridge thought it was a sit and go. freak of medic nature.

    Just fold unless you have a reason to disrespect his range

    Yeah against an unknown I don't think you want to get nearly 20BBs in with AQ and I don't like calling much either so I think a fold is probably the best option.

    I'm probably going to get raped for this but I'd like to smooth call. He has a big stack and people generally open their ranges from early position now. Smooth call 3bb of your 18bb stack imo and take the c-bet if you hit. I don't think I want to shove here just because there are 4 people behind + not too happy to flip for 40bbs. Folding is possibly the right move but I hate giving this much credit to a unkown player at these stakes and with his stack.

    Fold. Stack size means that i hardly ever flat a raise here. You should be aiming to either be opening, or 3-bet with intention to get it in pre when you enter a hand. In this spot UTG raise, plus people to act behind us, it's a situation way too capable of getting messy. We can comfortably fold here.
