. If he wants to play a bare flush draw aggressively he isn't going to check behind on the turn. I think you put him on a completely false range. Checking behind with just trips on that board is a death trap and he's not an entirely stupid player. People like him do not slow down unless they are guaranteed the pot. 2-betting the flop and then checking behind when the board pairs seriously isolates his range to at least a 7. And now we have to be more specific to isolate to a 7xdd hand and then even more specific he has to for some reason check this in position on the turn with the semi nuts...
