Short stack could be shoving all sorts and with the added value of Marjo calling (22/6) would you ever ISO ship this?

88 is very rarely strong enough to iso shove i think. Theres way to much scope for losing your stack to try and isolate in that spot. hands like TT,JJ,QQ are going to snap you off in a tournament and you could end up even in a 3way pot vs 3/4 overcards.

Why are we so sure MP is going nuts? He's got like 10 big blinds so it would be a push or fold scenario but I'm not exactly pushing light. Onto the "station" type guy. I'm not entirely convinced he's calling so light. 22/6 could just mean a lot of limping. He's calling 10 bb's here. Then again who knows he probably chipped up making stupid loose calls.

At the end of the day I'm pretty much always folding here.

5.5k in the pot which is ~half my stack. I have huge fold equity on Marjo by pushing. He snap called the 9bb shove, if he had a premium pp I can't imagine him doing this but that is just speculation. Is this not a really good opportunity to pick up chips? Some dude iso shoved QTo UTG+2 when we got down to final 18, he was up against K2s and lost. Now that's a bad iso.

Why are we talking about fold equity when one of our opponents is all in so we have to win a showdown anyway? We don't know Marjo's cold calling range or even have an estimate and we don't know what his reaction to your raise is going to be or which hands he's calling with. Too many unknown's to go nuts here.

Well we want Marjo to fold? I definitely don't want Marjo calling. Aren't iso plays all about fold equity anyway?

The fact that Marjo04 flat calls, the shortstack shove and doesn't isolate himself indicates sooo much strength. Fold 88 IMO.

Hate this spot a lot, obviously we're not worried about the shortie jamming as we're well ahead of his range, and if we can get the loose passive fish to fold we get an awesome overlay. If the buyin was <$20 I'd probably iso jam this and fold if it was higher, it's pretty rough though, some people will fold 99/TT/AQ if we iso jam over them.
