    interesting spot

just curious how you all would have played this spot:

am playing 2-5 at the hard rock.

in for $200, but have about $140 behind - so down $60.

    am dealt UTG + 2.

there is a straddle in play.

i limp the $10 and there are 5 more callers behind before the straddle checks his option.

    the flop comes :

straddle (who i know as an agressive player) bets $10 into a pot of almost $100.

i flat. surprisingly there is only one other call behind me.

    the turn comes

once again the straddler leads out, this time for $25 (into a $125 pot....).

i consider a raise but the player behind has me worried. at this point i have them both on a variety of straight/flush draws.

i flat again. player behind folds. i am pretty sure ace high is good here.

    river is a .

straddler eyes my stack, and bets $75 while giving off the body language of a strong hand (leaning forward and erect, staring at me, etc.)

    what do you do?

Fold pre, fold flop, fold turn, fold river.

Buy in for another $60 (if $200 is max)

P.S. I can see a brag thread coming on here.

If you've got a read on the guy then fair play. He should also learn to use his aggression preflop if he's straddling and not to just go nuts postflop. I call the flop but fold pre and turn. If the turn brings a heart I'm probably jamming him as we're playing with $140 at NL500.

How? He has straddled, therefore he could have any 2! There is no way you should be playing this hand in the first place though and IF for some reason you decided to, you should NOT be limping it from your position.

Is the reason you have $200 playing a $2-5 game something to do with America's gambling laws? Cos that really sucks if it is.

Almost this, except I don't agree with buying in another $60. Just go home and save your money.

These are classic signs of weakness but we don't really have anything either there's hand in his bluff range we're behind even.
