    Thumbs Up Hi from HE4DFLUXX

    Hi Guys,

New to this site having used badbeat.com before thought I'd try my hand here instead..One question is this a UK born site? I'm from Suffolk, UK..
Was taken on with $100 daily loss limit on badbeat but didn't do to great..
This was a year ago and feel I have improved recently so thought I'd give this site a shot..Would like to hear from the regulars on here and how your getting on with it?

Hi to any other newbies too..

    - Olly

yeah mate its a uk born site. Quite a few students here too, the sites a bit more beginer friendly than 2p2 and other forums. think advice given is of a good standard. what do you play? full ring, 6 max etc?

Students eh?! well at 30yrs old I'm probably one of the oldest on the site then lol ...
I play 6max cash at the lower limits..just starting on my 3k hands in order to be considered..
Have been playing poker for quite a few years now biggest achievement 'spinning up' £40 to over £4k on SKY Poker..then losing 2k playing too high ..cashed out the rest while I was ahead! Are you a sponsored player?

Hey mate, welcome to the forum. I used to be sponsored by badbeat.com myself. Who was your mentor? I was rolled for NL100 but other than a $25rebuy ship I made very little playing cash. Now it's about a year and a half on and almost all my winnings come from MTTs and rakeback Definitely still going to keep trying at cash though mate! Good luck to you.

Do you 'work' for this site? Noticed your name cropping up a lot on the forums...
My mentor was Gary Avery...nice bloke..Don't know if he's still with them though..

I was mentored by Gary too mate! Good guy, but some strategy I stubbornly disagreed with. Well, one piece of strategy - not getting AK all in pre oop.

Me and James actually set up this site a couple of years ago. Started out looking really shabby and we finally got a whole new design up. It's not the biggest forum out there but definitely one of the friendliest. Also some sick advice. Currently we don't employ anyone to work for this site

Yep. Just a forum. What sponsored players are you talking about? We don't personally sponsor players here. We are affiliated with a site that sponsors players.
