what do people think of these

obviously thats not his hand, i just wasn't sure how to cover it up. i dont want people telling me its obvious what he had. similarly in the hand below.

im not entirely happy with the way i played either of these hands, with good reasoning i could easily become of the opinion that either is played correctly or badly. i just wanted to see what others thought.

if anyone wants to guess the hands my opponents held ill give you a little clue in that i won one of these and lost the other. ive set it to i won both to cover up which is which.

additional info, villain in first hand is 39/11 with a 3bet of 2.7, in second villain is a generic LAGfish

On the first hand I'd of just check shoved the turn. I think if we stick him all in on the turn he folds out JJ/TT whereas we can get him to either bet the turn or call a bet on the river if we go with a turn check/shove. Anyway, he is terrible for set mining a 4bet when he's like 110bbs deep.

On the 2nd hand, it's a bit different. The Q dropping is a really horrible card to come. It means we lose to two huge hands in his range - AQ and QQ. I think there is a possibility of folding the flop. We have to be right ~70% of the time but how often does he wake up with AJ here? Just seems like we beat nothing on a completely non-drawy board. Noone check shoves AQ6r flops without having something in a 3bet pot. Personally, I don't know why he's not just getting it in pre when it's blind v blind.

Don't think you should be mad at the way you played these though. Essentially they were coolers.

top hand he has the ace, i prolly barrell any turn and bet/fold, but the ace has thrown up a big **** off bunch of possibilities, i still get away from it though.. I think uve coolered him ayway in the 2nd hand, ur up against somthing like kq/qq, both spots are pretty horrid for both i think.

1st hand, I think I pot control from the turn onwards. So c/c rather than openship.

2nd hand, I probably smooth pre rather than 3-bet, but that is merely my preference, nothing wrong with the way you played it, especially since you say he was a LAG fish.

1st hand- I kind of like if you know hes going to call TT-QQ.

2nd hand- TPTK in a 3bet pot 120bb's deep=nuts so I would take the same line as you. I would be turbo writing down notes of his likely 4betting tendancies though,

I would do this if I despised money so much that I just have to set it on fire.

He's a LAGfish hes calling your 3bet really wide and you're in position with AK, how can this not be a 3bet.

In the 2nd hand i think i could grudgingly find the fold button. As pates says, what hand that we beat is doing this? I would be betting the flop smaller as well to get value from KQ/AJ etc.

Disagree completely. Don't mean to be mimicing what everyone else has said, but its true, what do you beat other than a bluff or AJ with his line?

thanks for all the comments so far, in the first hand i was thinking it was likely he called with QQ or worse and would defo call when the A paired. maybe check/call turn but if he checks back i would probably have shoved river, thing is with only 2.7% 3bet i cant expect him to turn up with an A because he should only have AK and thats very unlikely since we can see 2 As and 2 Ks. 2nd hand obviously is 3bet pre, i think i should even go bigger to like 10 maybe. flop bet could have been smaller but recently ive been trying to bet flop big, turn small and river medium sized to get 100ish bbs in, this seems to be they way they prefer to call it off. so thats why i did 13 into 16.50, i obviously used my whole time bank and in the end called, i only had 56 hands on this guy so no reliable postflop stats although he did cbet 4/4 times and his preflop stats were about 55/35.

ill let you know what both villains had sometime tomorrow.

we put in 12.5% of our stacks in the middle pre, if TPTK is not the nuts then what is?

Villain if he's a LAGfish can be spazzing a lot here.
