Hey mate,
Are you looking to turn pro or just taking a break before hitting the life grind?
Will you be hitting the student circuit this year i.e. UKSPC, WaSOP?

I'm not looking to turn pro long term playing at the levels I am right now, I should be going back to uni in september tho and this should keep me going until then. If I get to a level where I can win well at mid stakes and actually make good money I might try to go pro longterm.
Not being a student anymore, I can't play the student events but I still have a valid student ID so I might get away with it. The UKSPC is a really good tournament and its super soft, I played the last 2 years and cashed 2 years ago (16th/200+ for £66, well worth the 12 hours sat at the tables) but last year I spent the night before playing cash at a mates house til 8 in the morning so was half asleep while I was playing and after a couple of hours just tilted off my stack. I was playing for a while with a girl that final tabled last year tho, there was one hand where blinds were 100/200 UTG raised to 600, I fold and then she tanks and folds UTG+2 with 15k effective stack against raiser. I asked what she thought so long with and she told me she had 77's but had a feeling he might have a big hand... and I saw the guy who won it play and he was pretty awful so you don't need much talent to do well here.

It's a great tournament and I'm pretty sure you'll get away with your student ID. I think I've been 3 years running. Only been deep once when a super lagtard on my right called my 4-bet shove with K3o, I had 88. Blah.
