    4 betting at micros.

Do you guys ever feel like you are losing value at micros by 4 betting? NL50 and lower is very nitty after all and very few people 'spaz out' with AK preflop even if they are OOP. I just wonder that (especially if you are in position) is there any point in 4 betting pre flop 100 deep or less effective at nl50-nl2
 stop being a moron

Don't get fooled by the notion that people in the micros only 4bet KK+, AKs it isn't true. The way to see it is that if they are willing to 3bet 6-8ish percent and only continue with 1.3% that they are going to be well easy to bluff. Its the equivalent to 80%+ fold to 4bet, this is horrendously exploitable.

So I disagree that there is no point to 4betting at the micros in fact if they're going to be such a bunch of pussies about it 4betting seems profitable. The good hands to choose are like A5s and K8s pick hands that have blockers if they're not going to adjust.

You just aren't going to get that type of sample size on most opponents though. If you play a thousand hands with somebody how many instances of folding to a 4bet actually come up? Additionally, its a dynamic range.

As for NL50 or lower being nitty I just don't agree with that although I haven't really played those stakes for a while.

Agree with sample size thing, honestly nl25 on stars is very well known for being incredibly nitty at the moment, its the first limit people can just make a small living out of rakeback.

I agree with fairyboy. Little point in 4betting lighter than top 3-4 hands pre unless we're playing effective stacks of >100bbs or we know the player is a station with 2nd sector hands (AQ/AJ/KQs etc). I agree that lower limits are nitty as fook preflop. Keep your 4bet %'age down...

.. down down down down, dooowwwwwn, dowwwwwwwn, baby keep it down down down down down.

I'm inferring it, as a 3bet of 6-8% with a 90% confidence level is attainable with a 1000 hand sample.

I don't play NL25 at Stars like ever (its all about the tournaments baby), but at Party Poker the 3bets and 4bets are common and never would I lay down QQ (pre) to 90%+ opponents

I like 4betting light - generally in BvB - against certain villains.

    By magic!

Seriously though it's not like I could even do the maths for this and I would be ashamed if someone had to for this. It's quite common knowledge that 3betting in the micros has increased a lot from 2005 the 4betting will either adjust or it won't.
