My question is if I should have bet stronger on a flush draw to get him off his fives after the flop? (I had an 8:5 chip lead and absolutely could have afforded it, I was in 16th out of a few hundred/ starting 7500) Additionally, is raising the right call on the river with a nut flush with a pair on the board. I was shocked to see his boat. Were there hints? Basically no texture because it was a rush tournament. Pretty new to online poker. Any help would be awesome!

Would probably just flat the check raise on the river how it has been played. Might be a bit nitty but he check calls the turn (you should've bet more imo). Check raising the river like that is seriously strong.

I would've raised the flop to 4k given the stack sizes. He got lucky to cooler you there.

Flop's fine IMO; standard. In the future, a raise on the flop is in order ("WTF do you have on the flop that can raise against my FLUSH DRAW?)... If you want value.. A shove was 50/50 to get called. Probably, an opp. folding would of been nice 'vs. a shove'. A case for a larger pre-flop raise could be made. Although given the position; you would of had to expect to of only got called by this guy an all, for value out of a PF raise. Very tricky, right play IMO, UL.

Crazy hand... should have bet stronger on a flush draw to get him off his fives after the flop but still that would have been as good as it ended... pure badluck i would say...
