Absolute Poker Superuser
I'm sure you've all heard about this "superuser" account on Absolute Poker that has gone and lost the site all their credability.
What do you guys think of this? Can absolute make a come back? While you ponder over these questions, check out this song to go with the story: ![]() ![]() ![]() http://pokertube.com/ShowMovie.aspx?...OrderBy=Latest |

I've looked at this quite a bit. It just seems like a senior member of absolute leaked information to the super user who got told what cards the other players had on the table.
If you want to see a full reconstructed hand history of the tournament that this guy won while being able to see other players' cards then check this out. Pretty frikkin unbelievable how obvious he made it that he was cheating: It's a shame for absolute as there is no way high stakes players will be playing there again, and it took them enough time to admit they messed up. Places like pokerstars with the whole "JJ Prodigy" (underage multi-accounter) problem at least owned up to it and dished out punishments. I think Absolute could've got off a lot better if they just handled it differently. |

i think the story is that absolute put in a super user account at very early age of testing. Now a programmer must have kept that in to cheat in the future. Obviously cracked it open and made it absolutly obvious he was cheating. Of course Absolute poker never admitted to this and i think that all superuser accounts will have been deleted but if you are a high stakes player beware!

lol that youtube video was just retarded! surely if you could see other hole cards you'd play it a little slower than that and still win, what a joke.

the superuser, cooperating with the player "potripper", had been doing so for at least 3 years. it was just that they never went for any win this big before. thats how it was noticed, and a detailed hand history was "accidentally" sent to the runner-up player.
things potripper did were amazing. he folded kings preflop once, and folded jacks twice, one time with NO BETS on the table. he folded aces on the turn when a flush came (ok ok thats legit, maybe). another hand he had Q 10 and the other player had KQ in position board was A J 8 5 5. every round, including the flop, KQ was betting into potripper, and he was JUST CALLING (wtf?). then it gets to the river, potripper checks, KQ bets a THIRD OF HIS STACK, and potripper sits there for about 30 seconds before he goes all-in. the KQ has to fold. |
