Gamblingsucks has added slight value to the forum
Gambling killed my family
my dad was a horrible gambler and he never quit while he was ahead he always thought that the next 100$ would win him the jackpot and he basically sold the house and his car and everything around him to win and i hope he is living in a dumpster right now..


kids gambling sucks and i will never gamble, you shouldn't either..

i hope he rots alive!

wow! I guess your dad got very addicted to gambling... Selling a house and a car to play poker is something crazy. I think gambling could become addictive just like smoking or alcohol!

This is a case of bad addiction and one that we should all avoid. However, most people are just casual players and do not fall into this trap. I play every once in a while and can quit whenever I want to.

He should have got help, and never gambled again.

Yeah, classifying someone as a bad person just because they are addicted to something is not right. He should have gotten help once he knew he was going down the drain. Continuing to gamble and putting you and your family in the while is the worst thing possible.
