Gambling Syndicates

A friend of mine came up with the idea of a gambling syndicate. More precisely, a sunday million syndicate. Basically it's a group of say 5 people who buyin direct to the sunday million each week. Each player gives the $40 to the guy who is going to be playing that week and then the profits get split at the end of the week.

Sounds like a good idea to me and sounds pretty fun. Maybe one day on this site we can get a sunday mill syndicate.

Only one member of the syndicate plays the tournament each week. The player who players rotates each week. Everyone chips in each week so that the player can buyin. Basically, once it's your turn to play, you would have already spent $215 on entry so you just have to hope that the players your with are good enough to make cash.

I satellited and played it once. Players were ****. A lot were good but so many of them satellite thru the $11.70 double shoot out turbos which are just FULL of fish. I managed to cash into the 2nd prize bracket and definately think it'd be possible to do that again.

Maybe do a syndicate for the nightly $55 50k GRTD on stars? That'd be like $10 each a night and then each of the 5 could play it once every weekday.

$215 is far too much for me. I think a $55 is much more realistic. If PIR was going to have a syndicate then you should probably do some qualifying procedures to get the best players possible! Could be very profitable.

I think I got something like $480. Not bad for an $11 investment but I would've loved to of done better. I think with my experience now I could go further. The structure is pretty sound.
